Exponential is now Web Partners
In keeping with our new year’s resolution to “be better”, we are delighted to announce the launch of our new brand. Exponential Business Consulting will now be known as Web Partners.
Why the change? Web Partners founder, Cathal McNamara, reveals all.
I couldn’t avoid it any longer. It was time to practice what I preach.
“Since founding Exponential I spent a lot of time with business owners from all walks of life. Pretty quickly a pattern emerged. Lack of focus, trying to be all things to all people, and a lot of time spent focusing on perfection (but watching opportunities walk by). While consulting with my clients, I realised that the challenges they were facing were also my own. Exponential offered broad business consulting with an emphasis on digital transformation (Web Projects, Customer Relationship Management, Strategy & Digital Marketing). So the answer to the question “what do you do?” would be very long winded.

On reflection, the greatest success I had with my clients was through web projects. There are a lot of “set it and forget it” brochure style websites in Ireland. The majority of them are not effectively enabling businesses to trade online. On my travels I came across websites that were hacked, contact forms that led to nowhere and a customer journey that required 14 clicks to purchase a digital product. While I never set out to be a web developer, I found myself winning a lot of web design projects. Impostor syndrome would begin to set in. I am not a graphic designer or a programmer. However, this weakness would become my greatest strength. I would not focus on design, but on the customer journey.
